It
turns out that Ancaster, Ontario (near Hamilton), is a hot-bed of Coot
construction.
This
almost all-aluminum Coot (deck & canopy excepted) is being built
by Heinz Genrich.
Heinz
wants to make this Coot very light, and he is using tail and other parts
from a Zenair 601.
Not
far away, in a barn in Burlington, Clark Gilbert and Karl Wettlaufer
are collecting Coots from
all
over Ontario, started by Angelo Benvenuti, Don Moncrieff, and
Lyle Jones, among others.
Therefore,
it's likely that this page will be expanded as more photos come in.
Stay tunned.
